Thank you for sending me the studio one 3 manual. I am seriously contemplating purchaching this awesome piece of DAW! There is one thing that I am missing in your manual. Here is the scenario:

Let's assume I have a drum loop on audio track number 1.

I now want to create a MIDI track only. Let's call this track 2.

I now want to place an audio effect like, Shaperbox from Cableguys on track 1.

On track 2 I have my MIDI track and I have the Qwerty keyboard there, with which I want to send MIDI commands to Shaperbox.

Here comes my question:

How do you create a MIDI only track in Studio One? This is very easy in Cubase? And how do I route

the MDI commands to track number 1 to control Shaperbox?

I can not find anything on this in your manual?

I am setting up a new recording studio at home, and am looking to reset all my gear to the latest/greatest. I have a practice room area that is roughly 30 feet by 20 feet, and a separate fishbowl control room. I would like to set up a Studio Live RM32AI in the main music hall section close to the instruments. I have a dedicated cat5e cable ruing from the hall to the control room. I understand you can link a CS18AI console using cat5e, but can this also be done with the latest Studiolive 32 series III? This would allow me to control sound from the physical console in the control room, or through iPad in the music hall - keeping everything in sync.

i would like to have the option that Bus-, Auxtracks can be placed on the right side, the Outputsection of the console, directly beside the Master Out. Changing the order of these Bus-, Auxtracks like the Order of the Arranger Tracks with the Mouse would be good too.

The sample editing in the top of Impacts Gui is not exact/fine enough in my opinion. One reason is the small window, when longer drumloops are loaded. Its hard to adjust the start/end points of the regions.

A slice to Impact (Drummachine) feature with automatically generated Subtracks like in Ableton or Bitwig woul be great.

I have a perfect mix in MY Project. It sounds great on my computer/studio speakers. I bu a CD, play it in my car or on my stereo and it is entirely different...."thin" and aoying...it is frustrating to edit my Studio One mix, bu a CD, go to my car, take notes, try to adjust...repeat over and over! How do you mix it right for your end user????

ANYWAYS THAT AN EQ CAN BE ADDED TO THE TAPE IN ON THE RM32AI WIRELESS MIXER? IT IS ANNOYING WHEN PLAYING A MUSIC ON THAT TAPE IN THAT DOES NOT MIX WELL THEN WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY TO EQ IT.

I have just installed Studio One (2) on my computer and have the Huxley M-49 keyboard. When I load the program in the list of functions it says 'Audio recording disabled' and in Audio setup it says 'Disabled 1' and 'Disabled 2' above the numbers 1 & 2 in little boxes.In addition on start up it says 'Failed to open Microsoft Midi Mapper'. I can't seem to record anything from my keyboard or even hear it when i press the keys. I have added it as a device. It comes up as 'Masterkey 49'.

Please help!

I have seen this coector labeled as 5-pin mini XLR but none I have seen have the locking ring. Some also have the five pins in a different arrangement and would be physically incompatible.

So who makes this coector and where can I buy it?

I'm having this exact same issue. I ran through the troubleshooting steps that were posted, that didn't fix it. I work in IT so I've also tried a number of other things that might be causing this issue, none of them have helped. Disabled other audio drivers, disabling firewall, reinstalling drivers, etc. The sound does not occur when I use native drivers/headphones going into the native port on my computer. This is a newer machine with all Windows Updates. I have not checked if there's a BIOS update available but I'd rather not go that route because I believe this to be a software issue.I made

By default, the Notion Mixer assigns only a single stereo chael to a grand Piano staff. As a result, chords in the left hand are much heavier than single lines in the right, for example, and mask other notes in the score.

The solution is to send the bass and treble staves each to their own dedicated chaels. Sibelius does this by default, as do several other notation packages I have used. While it's possible to ***** this using individual staves instead of a grand piano staff, having a piano staff configured this way by default would automatically make playback more realistic.

And should be quite easy to implement.

Sorry for not being more specific. As I mentioned, I have MAIN, AUX 1, and AUX 2 tued on in the Talkback Edit screen (for our particular rehearsal situation, the MAIN is needed, but thanks for the caution). In the MAIN, MIX 1, and MIX 2 Layers, I already had the Talkback fader at unity gain and the Master fader for each at an appropriate level. I have no issues with the other sources being sent through those 3 mixes. I just get nothing from the Talkback chael. The Talk switch itself appears to be working properly since the on/off behavior of the button LED works as expected. I'm stumped.

Has anyone else experienced when they plug a XLR cable into the input jack on an AIR series speaker that it gets stuck and won't come out?

My question is how can i use studio one and my MPC X together. My reason for buying the MPC X is due to sampling and timestretch audio its much easier to use with MPC X. I am having a tough time setting up my arrangement tracks, and how to use chorder.

A limiter, compressor and such stuff is very useful, but it seems that it isn't available with Studio One 3 Prime(the free version). Are there ways to achieve the same results as a limiter and compressor would do?

1. Is it possible to play back single tracks therough my AR12USB in Capture?

2. Is it possible to rerecord or add a single track to a mix in Capture?

I can't playback what I record in studio one. I am using Windows 10 on a desktop computer with Studio One 3 Artist DAW. The preamp I'm using is the Audiobox USB 96. I downloaded Universal Control for Windows 10 and the driver for Audiobox USB. I get audio levels from my mic in the mix tab of the software, but I can't record anything unless I tu the dials all the way up on my preamp and then wavelengths show up in the software. And even then I can't playback anything into my headphones that are plugged into my PC. Phantom power is enabled for my condenser mic. I'm fairly sure I followed the directions well; I have no idea what's wrong. I need help lol

It's a vsti, but it does not show when I put it in the vsti folder. I can only use it standalone. The thing is the authors say that Studio One is not "backwardly compatible", but they don't say in relation to what.

It's frustrating because the emulation of an ARP 2600 is very good and I have made a sound in the standalone version that I have been chasing for a long time - but I can't use it. Works with Cubase etc.though...

A studio 192 was coected to my pc ruing at Windows10prox64, with the latest universal contral software (2.1.1.43544), my android6.0 smartphone was coected to the same LAN with my PC. However, in the QMix-UC app, it can scan the studio 192 correctly but i caot coect to and remote it, it just looks like that
